Wale Folarin or Wale is a hip-hop artist from Washington, DC. The cornerstone of his music has both hip-hop and rap influences and he is most commonly known for his single "Nike Boots" release in November 2007 as a free iTunes download. In December 2007, "Nike Boots Remix" was debuted with Lil Wayne and Green Lantern on the Wale MySpace page.
